Who He Is
Ajinkya is a Yoga therapist, Tai Chi practitioner, Ayurvedic wellness coach, and Marma practitioner with a deep commitment to whole-person healing. His work integrates traditional yogic and Ayurvedic wisdom with modern therapeutic understanding, supporting people in building resilience, vitality, and sustainable wellbeing.
With roots in classical lineages and years of client experience, he brings a grounded, compassionate, and practical approach to health — meeting each individual where they are.
Lineage & Inspiration
Ajinkya's work is deeply informed by living lineages and teachers who embody both classical wisdom and practical application.
Inspired by the teachings of Swami Sivananda Saraswati, Swami Satyananda Saraswati, and Swami Niranjanananda Saraswati — whose integrated approach emphasises harmony of head, heart, and hand (thought, feeling, and action) and the application of yoga in daily life. Ajinkya carries forward an understanding of yoga as a holistic, experiential discipline rooted in tradition, yet responsive to modern life.
Ajinkya's primary inspiration comes from Dr. Vasant Lad, founder of The Ayurvedic Institute, and the teachings transmitted through The Ayurvedic Institute and Ayurprana — emphasising constitutional assessment, digestive intelligence, lifestyle medicine, marma therapy, and the integration of body, mind, and consciousness in healing.
Rooted in the Yang Family Tai Chi tradition through study with Sifu George Thomas — a sixth-generation master and disciple of Grandmaster Fu Sheng Yuan (fifth-generation Yongnian Yang Family lineage) — emphasising internal alignment, subtle strength, and the cultivation of balance, vitality, and embodied awareness.
